Pat was a boat captain, fishing guide and started from humble beginnings building rods after work in his bedroom. He’s an avid angler who started making rods as a hobby and now operating out of an 8,000 square foot facility carrying 60 different models on hand ranging from ice fishing to vertical jigging walleye to open water casting rods. MAGS ships coast to coast, Canada, Mexico and abroad. Pat shares insight to what goes into a well crafted fishing rod, the importance of a top talent operations team, the stages the customization goes through, partnerships MAGS has acquired along the way, different shows they sell at, some great stories, ideal setups for targeting different species and bodies of water, ideal baits to use, lure & line weights for changing water flows, and much more!
